Rubens's new challenge

Rubens Barrichello new racing challenge starts today at St. Petersburg in Miami. Since Rubens have leafed Formula 1 at the end of last season, this will be the first season since 1992 Rubens's isn't in Formula 1. But, he will began a new challenge in his racing career in IndyCar Series, teaming up with KV Racing Technology, with Chevrolet Turbo V6s with E. J. Viso and Tony Kanaan as team mates. So good luck to Rubens in your new adventure, he will be starting 13th place in his first race at Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. This race will be the first IndyCar event since Dan Wheldon was killed in an accident at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in October 2011. It will also be the first race run with the new Dallara chassis, which Wheldon was helping to develop and is named "DW12" in his honour.

Also, 2012 Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg the first time since the end of the 2005 season that Honda will not be IndyCar's only engine supplier. Chevrolet re-enters Indy racing for the first time since that season and Judd under the Lotus name will be the third supplier, with their new 2.4l turbocharged V6s.
