2015 BTCC Round 4 Recap

Review of Round Four of the 2015 British Touring Car Championship season was at Oulton Park's Island Circuit, in Cheshire.

In the first race, Team BMR driver Jason Plato took the race win in his Volkswagen CC and also took Independents class win too. Second was Honda Yuasa Racing driver Matt Neal in his Honda Civic Type R, he was three seconds behind Plato in the end. While third place was IHG Rewards Club driver Andy Priaulx in his BMW 125i M Sport, he was three and a half seconds behind Plato in the end.

While, Jack Sears Trophy (for top 'Rookie Driver' in the series) was won by #RacingforHeroes driver Josh Cook in his Chevrolet Cruze 4dr, he finished in twelfth place and was fifteen seconds behind Plato in the end.


Meanwhile in the second race, once again Team BMR driver Jason Plato took the race win in his Volkswagen CC and also took Independents class win too. Second was Honda Yuasa Racing driver Gordon Shedden in his Honda Civic Type R, he was a tenth of a second behind Plato in the end. While third place was MG 888 Racing driver Andrew Jordan in his MG6 GT, he was one and a half of a second behind Plato in the end.

While, Jack Sears Trophy was won by Dextra Racing driver Alex Martin in his Ford Focus ST, he finished in eighteenth place and was thirty-two seconds behind Plato in the end.


Finally in the third race, Team JCT600 with GardX driver Sam Tordoff took the race win in his BMW 125i M Sport. Second was MG 888 Racing driver Andrew Jordan in his MG6 GT, he was two tenths of a second behind Tordoff in the end. While third place was Honda Yuasa Racing driver Matt Neal in his Honda Civic Type R, he was eight tenths of a second behind Tordoff in the end.

Meanwhile, Independents class was won by Team BMR driver Jason Plato in his Volkswagen CC, he finished in fifth place and was three and a half seconds behind Tordoff in the end.

While, Jack Sears Trophy was won by #RacingforHeroes driver Josh Cook in his Chevrolet Cruze 4dr, he finished in thirteenth place and was twelve seconds behind Tordoff in the end.

Next stop Croft for Round Five of the 2015 British Touring Car Championship season in three weeks time.

Formula E - Moscow ePrix - Round 9 Recap

Review of Round Nine of the 2014-15 Formula E season held at the Moscow Street Circuit in Moscow, Russia. The race was won by China Racing driver Nelson Piquet Jr.. Second was Audi Sport ABT driver Lucas di Grassi, he was two seconds behind Piquet Jr. in the end.

Meanwhile, third was Venturi driver Nick Heidfeld, after e.dams Renault driver Sébastien Buemi was third on track, but he received a 29-second penalty for an unsafe pit-lane release during the race, and was relegated to ninth place. Promoting Hiedfied to the final place on the podium, Hiedfied was eleven seconds behind Piquet Jr. in the end.

2015 Canadian Grand Prix Review and thoughts

Review of the seventh round of the 2015 F1 season at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, for the Canadian Grand Prix.

Overall, a dominating race weekend for Mercedes, dominating in practice, dominating in qualifying, and most importantly dominating in the race for Mercedes driver and current Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton was on pole for Sunday's race, dominate the race to conclude with a race win in this seasons Canadian Grand Prix for his fourth race win of the season.



While, team-mate Nico Rosberg finished second place in the Mercedes to give the team its fourth one-two finish of the season, Rosberg was two seconds behind Hamilton at the end.

Meanwhile, Valtteri Bottas finished in third place in the Williams to complete the podium, Bottas was fourty seconds behind Hamilton at the end of the seventy lap race.

2015 TCR Round 6 Recap

Review of Round Six of the 2015 TCR International Series season was at Salzburgring, east of Salzburg, Austria.

In the first race, WestCoast Racing driver Kevin Gleason took the race win in his Honda Civic TCR. Second was Target Competition driver Stefano Comini in his SEAT León Cup Racer, he was three seconds behind Gleason in the end. While third place was Target Competition driver Andrea Belicchi in his SEAT León Cup Racer, he was five seconds behind Gleason in the end.


While in the second race, Target Competition driver Michel Nykjær took the race win in his SEAT León Cup Racer. Second was Team Craft-Bamboo Lukoil driver Pepe Oriola in his SEAT León Cup Racer, he was four tenths of a second behind Nykjær in the end. While, third place was WestCoast Racing driver Gianni Morbidelli finished third in his Honda Civic TCR, he was one and a half second behind Nykjær in the end.



Next stop Sochi Autodrom, Sochi, Russia for Round Seven of the 2015 TCR International Series season in three weeks time.

Round Five Recap of the 2015 United SportsCar Championship

Review of Round Five of the 2015 United SportsCar Championship at The Raceway on Belle Isle in Detroit.

Action Express Racing team won the race overall and Prototype class too of Dane Cameron and Eric Curran in their Corvette DP, Chevrolet 5.5L V8. While, Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian team finished second place in their Ligier JS P2, Honda HR28TT 2.8 L V6 Turbo, the team of Oswaldo Negri, Jr. and John Pew; they were eighteen seconds behind the leaders. Meanwhile, the second Action Express Racing team finished third place in their Corvette DP, Chevrolet 5.5L V8, the team of João Barbosa and Christian Fittipaldi; they were nineteen seconds behind the leaders.

In Prototype Challenge Class (all teams using Oreca FLM09 race car), Starworks Motorsport team won Prototype Challenge Class and finished in sixth place overall; with the drivers of Mirco Schultis and Renger van der Zande; they were forty-five seconds behind the leaders.

In GT Daytona Class, Team Seattle/Alex Job Racing team won GT Daytona Class and finished in eleventh place overall in their Porsche 911 GT America; with the drivers of Mario Farnbacher and Ian James; they were two laps behind the leaders.

While GT Le Mans class did not participate for this race.

F1 2015 Canadian Grand Prix Predictions

Predictions for this weekends Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, on the street circuit in Montreal.

And so predictions for the race itself, Lewis Hamilton for the win in his Mercedes, Nico Rosberg second in his Mercedes, and Sebastian Vettel third in the Ferrari. Don't forget Kimi Raikkonen, the Red Bull drivers, Williams drivers either for a podium place as-well.

2015 Italy MotoGP Review

Review of the round six of the 2015 MotoGP season at the Mugello Circuit, in Mugello, Italy.

In the MotoGP race (V-twin, V4, or Inline-four 1000cc four stroke class), that was won by Movistar Yamaha MotoGP rider Jorge Lorenzo on his works Yamaha YZR-M1. Second was Ducati Team rider Andrea Iannone on his works Ducati Desmosedici GP15, he was over 5 seconds behind Lorenzo at the end. While, third was Movistar Yamaha MotoGP rider Valentino Rossi on his works Yamaha YZR-M1, he was over 6 seconds behind Lorenzo at the end of the race.

In Open class (Full control ECU system, hardware and software), Athinà Forward Racing rider Loris Baz won Open class and finished twelfth overall on his Yamaha Forward, he was 42 seconds behind Lorenzo at the end.

In the Moto2 race (Inline-four 600 cc four-stroke class), that race was won by Estrella Galicia Marc VDS rider and current Moto2 champion Esteve Rabat on the Kalex. Second was Ajo Motorsport rider Johann Zarco on the Kalex, he was 3 tenths of a second behind Rabat at the end. While, third was Technomag Racing Interwetten rider Dominique Aegerter on the Kalex, he was 5 seconds behind Rabat at the end of the race.

While in the Moto3 race (single-cylinder 250 cc four-stroke class), that race was won by Red Bull KTM Ajo rider Miguel Oliveira on the KTM. Second was Leopard Racing rider Danny Kent on the Honda, he was a 7 hundredths of a second behind Oliveira at the end. While, third was Sky Racing Team VR46 rider Romano Fenati on the KTM, he was 12 hundredths of a second behind Oliveira at the end of the race.
